The pilots said that the market is open currently and hence they would be able to get jobs with other carriers. They mentioned that they were hired in a contractual position with less amount of salary, but with a promise of promotion and increment and hike of their salary. These promises are yet not been fulfilled, that makes pilots really disgruntled. Around 120 pilots of Air India have tendered their resignations due to unfulfilled over salary and promotion, reports said.
